Rapper Sexyy Red has filed a lawsuit against a former security guard following a burglary that allegedly took place during her mother's birthday celebration at a rented Florida mansion in January 2025.
The artist claims more than US$500,000 worth of jewelry, designer handbags, watches, and other luxury items were stolen after an intruder reportedly entered through an unsecured door.
Sexyy Red alleges security guard Carl Thompson failed to properly secure the property and is seeking damages exceeding US$500,000.
Thompson previously sued the rapper, claiming he was underpaid during his employment from 2023 to 2024.
The matter remains before the courts, with no arrests reported in connection with the theft.
