SEVERAL LOCAL ENTERTAINERS PAY TRIBUTE TO THE LATE PETER MORGAN OF MORGAN HERITAGE

Several musicians have expressed their condolences for Peter Morgan, the lead singer of the Grammy-winning Reggae group Morgan Heritage, who passed away at the age of 46 on February 25.

The band confirmed his death through a statement on social media but did not disclose the cause.

Many artists, such as Buju Banton and Maxi Priest, have honored Peetah’s memory.

Buju Banton mentioned collaborating with him on a project, while Maxi Priest conveyed his sympathy to the Morgan family and the entire entertainment community.

Stonebwoy, a Ghanaian afrobeats and dancehall artist, fondly referred to him as “Uncle Peter” and praised Morgan Heritage for their support and mentorship.

Additionally, a multitude of musicians including Shaggy, Popcaan, Capleton, Tarrus Riley, Stephen Marley, and Freddie McGregor, among others, have paid tribute to Peter Morgan.
