Several dancehall acts are among the list of nominees at this year’s Music of Black Origin, MOBO, awards.
Recording artistes Spice, Shenseea, Sean Paul, Popcaan, Skillibeng, and singer Lila Iké have been nominated in the Best Reggae Act category. Roots artists are noticeably absent in this genre.
Skillibeng picked up another nomination in the Best International Act category alongside Megan Thee Stallion, Young Stoner Life, Doja Cat, Wizkid, Polo G, Drake, Lil Nas X, and Kanye West.
The UK based awards show will be staged virtually on December 5.
