The South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) says it is monitoring the situation at some public health facilities in Kingston after several ambulance drivers reportedly stayed off the job yesterday.
The workers who called in sick are upset about outstanding salary payments.
According to Regional Director of SERHA, Lascelles Brown, some drivers in the Liguanea Region and at the Kingston Public Hospital stayed off the job.
