The Statistical Institute of Jamaica STATIN says the 2022 Population Housing Census, should be released by the end of September.
The update was given by Acting Director General Leesha Delatie-Budair, at a STATIN virtual event yesterday (Thurs).
Jamaica's 15th Population and Housing Census originally slated for 2021, has faced repeated delays.
Last November, STATIN said it had entered the final phase of the 2022 Population and Housing Census and was seeking to complete it, while preparing for the upcoming census in 2031.
