Sentencing For Danielle Rowe’s Killer Delayed Until Next Month

Share

The sentencing of dental assistant Kayodi Satchell, who admitted to the fatal stabbing of eight-year-old Danielle Rowe, was postponed yesterday (Thursday) to December 2.

Satchell appeared before the Home Circuit Court, where the new date was set.

The delay in sentencing was due to the unavailability of the medical report.

Danielle was abducted from Braeton Primary and Infant School on June 8 of last year.

She was later found wandering in Eastern Kingston with severe neck injuries.

Bystanders took her to the Bustamante Hospital for Children, but she succumbed to her injuries two days later.

Satchell was arrested and charged with murder in August last year after investigations.

Reports indicated that Satchell was in a relationship with Danielle’s father.

In September, she pleaded guilty to the brutal murder.
