A security expert has praised the use of a body-worn camera that captured a recent police shooting in Salt Spring, St James, saying it provided clear evidence of the incident.
He said the footage helped eliminate speculation and misinformation while boosting police accountability.
The former lawman urged the JCF to expand the use of body cameras, arguing that the force already has enough devices for strategic deployment.
He also said wider use of the technology would help strengthen public trust in law enforcement.
