Veteran dancehall artiste Sean Paul says he will never retire from music.
During a recent interview with UK-based magazine NME, the “Gimme Di Light” singer said, “Mi nah retire till mi dead like tyre, trus mi nuh man.”
Dutty Paul also pointed out that performing on stage helps him maintain his youthful energy.
He also stated, “And I read a little ting yesterday that said if you attend two concerts or two festivals every month, you goin’ gain nine years on your life. So I’m going to live forever!”
The “Temperature” artist was also asked about his thoughts on American rapper Ice Spice sampling “Gimme Di Light.” He mentioned that he believes she is a great artiste and he feels good about the vibe.
