Sean Paul is heating up the summer with the release of two new singles: “Ginger” and “Tuff (Shake It To The Max)”, both officially launched today. Each track showcases a different side of the international dancehall superstar’s artistry.
“Ginger” features Sean Paul's signature smooth vocals layered over classic dancehall rhythms, accompanied by catchy melodies and flirtatious lyrics. Produced by Johnny Goldstein and Daramola, the song delivers an upbeat, feel-good vibe.
In contrast, “Tuff” dives deep into Sean Paul’s hardcore dancehall roots. Already gaining traction from the Shake It To The Max remix series, the bass-heavy track, pays homage to the raw energy of sound system culture and street dance traditions.
Although the two songs differ in tone and style, “Ginger” being melodic and playful, and “Tuff” bold and gritty, Sean Paul mentioned their dual release was more of a happy coincidence than a strategic move.
