Sean Combs’ plan to become a domestic violence counselor after his recent conviction, is being strongly criticized by his accusers and their attorneys.
Victims and their lawyers call it manipulative and premature, arguing he needs intensive therapy, before counseling others.
Combs’ defense says he hopes to use counseling work as part of his redemption, asking the judge to consider this in sentencing after he was convicted of two prostitution-related charges but acquitted of more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
Lawyers for the victims say Combs has a long way to go before being fit to counsel others.
Combs’ sentencing is set for Oct. 3.
