Celebrity music producer Rvssian is closing out 2025 with the Recovery Riddim, set to become his latest star-studded project. Opening the track is Queen of the dancehall, Spice.
Recovery is the Story Book producer's first drop post-hurricane Melissa, so named as a beacon of hope. Despite what the name suggests, the sound reveals Rvssian's traditional dancehall flavour. After posting to Instagram last week, announcing the riddim with a snippet and asking followers to suggest the artists they wanted to hear on the riddim, Rvssian’s first reveal is none other than Spice.
The track arrived on Tuesday, complete with a music video on YouTube, featuring Spice and dancers decked out in blue against an urban backdrop. Instagram comments on the joint announcement post between Rvssian and Spice saw overwhelmingly positive repsonse from fans and celebrities like Ghanian singer Moliy, dancehall singer Ishawna and Love and Hip Hop stars Momma Dee and Jessie Woo.
Though there have been no further announcements of other authorized artistes so far. The Recovery Riddim is expected to be a stacked one with Rvssian, known to be a frequent collaborator with everyone in dancehall, from veterans to newcomers. Artistes suggested to jump on next include: Skillibeng, Ayetian, Roze Don, Aidona and Tommy Lee and Masicka, still currently locked in a fiery clash.
