A season-ending injury halted 2021 World Championship bronze medalist Rushell Clayton’s aspirations of competing in the Tokyo Olympics.

After clocking 54.20 seconds to place third in the women’s 400-meter hurdles final on Friday at the J-3As National Senior and Junior Championships, she overcame that disappointment by qualifying for the World Championships in Eugene, Oregon, her second major championship team.
