s several sections of the country continue to be affected by heavy rainfall, Executive Director of the National Road Safety Council, Paula Fletcher is appealing to motorists to exercise caution when traversing the nation’s roadways.

With 311 people dying on the country’s roads so far this year, Mrs. Fletcher says Jamaicans should not ignore the impact weather conditions can have on thoroughfares.

She says motorists should drive according to the road conditions.

Mrs Fletcher encouraged persons to drive even below the speed limit if the road conditions do not allow.
