Kemar Riley, one of the accused in the murder and beheading of Charmaine Rattray and her daughter Joeith in 2011 will be remanded after a seven-member jury found him guilty on two counts of murder after a unanimous verdict.

The verdict was handed down in the Supreme Court in downtown Kingston sometime after 1 pm.

Three of the men, Adrian Campbell, Roshane Goldson, and Fabian Smith pleaded guilty to non-capital murder earlier this month and are awaiting sentencing.

However, Riley and his cousin, Sanja Ducally, pleaded not guilty to murder and were on trial. Ducally last week Wednesday walked free after his lawyers made a successful no-case submission on his behalf.
