Rihanna’s beauty company is being accused of ignoring the needs of their visually-impaired customers.

Court documents filed in LA on Wednesday listed Beatriz Gutierrez filing a lawsuit against Fenty Beauty.

Gutierrez explained that she is visually-impaired and legally blind, and claims that Fenty Beauty’s website is not properly equipped to handle her needs.

The customer believes Rihanna’s company does not utilise industry standard screen-reading technology, which enables blind customers to interact with the site.

Gutierrez said the Fenty Beauty site contains significant “access barriers” that make it impossible for her to fully interact with the store, thus making the goods and services offered unavailable to her.

The woman wants an immediate injunction against Fenty Beauty to force them to adhere to the federal standards required for visually-impaired customers, as well as to collect damages in the amount of $15,000.
