Bajan billionaire Robyn Fenty, popularly known as Rihanna, is in
her blue era!
What does that even mean? We have no idea, but fans are spec-
ulating that RiRi could be hitting the big screens soon.
The “Diamonds” singer took to her Instagram earlier (February
5) to share a video that features the Smurfs. The video zooms up
to Smurfette on a tiny blue TV, who blows a kiss to the audience,
with the title “Trailer Tomorrow.”.
This seems to coincide with a 2023 announcement that Rihanna
was cast in the 2025 Smurf movie. According to Variety, Ri-
hanna was cast in the voice role of Smurfette in a new live-action
hybrid feature from Paramount Animation, “The Smurfs Movie.”
Thousands of social media fans commented their approval,
flooding the comments with blue hearts and comments like
“Smurfanna” and “Smurfette of Robyn” along with several Smurf
gifs.
One fan commented, “The way I thought this was a R9 teaser be-
fore the music started”, clearly awaiting Rih to drop her long-
awaited next album.
