Whew! Chile! Just when the Papoose and Remy Ma divorce drama couldn’t get any messier, another woman has entered the chat.
A woman identified as Tapanga claims she and Papoose had an alleged affair before and during Remy’s 2008 incarceration and she’s calling cap on his reported claim that he never knew her.
The claims come amid the messy split between Papoose and Remy, who separated in late 2024 after nearly 17 years together.
Papoose has since been publicly linked to boxer Claressa Shields, and things between Shields and Remy have gotten spicy too, with the two women throwing jabs at each other online.
Then Pap and Remy decided to take the drama to the booth, because apparently nothing says divorce proceedings like a diss track.
Remy fired the first lyrical shot in April with “W.Y.F.L.,” released over Crash Dummy and DJ Mac’s “W.Y.F.L.” riddim, taking shots at Pap and Claressa while also dismissing his claim that he ghostwrote some of her songs.
Last Friday (September 11), the date of their divorce hearing, mind you, Papoose returned fire with “Jezebel,” accusing Remy of cheating with battle rapper Eazy the Block Captain.
Remy has since teased another track, “Why I Get Married,” featuring Keke Wyatt, set to drop September 25.
Now Tapanga is taking the drama all the way back to the beginning. She claims she and Papoose were sexually involved before Remy went to prison and continued their alleged relationship while Remy was behind bars. According to Tapanga, the alleged affair eventually ended after she started dating another man.
