REGGAE ICON DONALD ‘TABBY’ SHAW KILLED

The reggae fraternity is mourning the loss of legend, Donald ‘Tabby’ Shaw.
Tabby, who was the lead singer of the reggae group, The Mighty Diamonds, was shot and killed Tuesday night. A man known as Owen Beckford was also killed in the incident. Two men and a woman were also injured.
According to the police, the 67-year-old musician was shot on Mckinley Crescent in St. Andrew. Gunmen allegedly drove up and opened fire on a group of persons at around 9:42 pm.
The group got their breakthrough in 1976 when they released the studio album, Right Time.
They are also known for classic songs ‘Pass the Kutchie’ and ‘I Need a Roof’.
