Reggae Girlz head coach Hubert Busby has been provisionally suspended by the Jamaica Football Federation JFF, after allegations of sexual misconduct against him, were exposed in the Guardian Newspaper in England.
In a statement, the JFF Executive said the decision was taken at a meeting, adding that the JFF has written to FIFA requesting a comprehensive investigation, after which, a decision will be made on Busby’s future with Jamaica’s women’s football program.
JFF President Michael Ricketts also issued a statement saying “We will await the results of this Fifa investigation. We do not want to make permanent decisions until we have the facts. At the same time, we have to ensure that our women and girls are protected by those who lead them”.
