Despite the absence of a few important players, Reggae Girlz coach Lorne Donaldson believes his squad will be competitive on September 3 against South Korea, which is rated number 18.

On September 6, the Jamaicans will also compete against the South Koreans in a closed-door training. Donaldson will take this opportunity to scout potential replacements for the FIFA Women’s World Cup next year.

The majority of the players who just assisted the squad in qualifying for a second consecutive World Cup, according to Donaldson, are unavailable due to commitments to clubs and colleges, among other reasons.
