The Reggae Boyz lost their first leg quarterfinal encounter in the CONCACAF Nations League game against Canada at the national stadium.
The game, which was postponed from last night after persistent rains, ended 2-1.
The Canadians got on the scoresheet in stoppage time just before half time and Shamar Nicholson’s equaliser in the 56th minute was confirmed after a VAR review. Canada struck late in the half to take the win.
The second leg takes place at BMO Field in Toronto, Canada on Tuesday at 7:30 pm.
