Reggae and dancehall will be acknowledged through a standalone, genre focused event during Grammy Weekend for the first time.
The Best Reggae Album Grammy Nominee Celebration dubbed, 'The Link Up', takes place on January 30 in Los Angeles and is presented by Soundcheck JA and Boomyard LA, in partnership with the Jamaica Tourist Board JTB.
Organizers say 'The Link Up', will bring together the 2026 Best Reggae Album nominees, Lila Iké, Vybz Kartel, Keznamdi, Mortimer, and Jesse Royal, for performances and industry engagement.
Alongside music, the event will incorporate cultural elements including food, fashion, art, and a marketplace, highlighting Jamaican identity in a global setting.
It is the only Afro Caribbean genre specific event, aligned with Grammy Weekend in Los Angeles, with part of the proceeds supporting hurricane relief efforts in Jamaica.
