The Rural Agricultural Development Authority, RADA has been criticized for not having transparent or competitive processes in its awarding of multi-million dollar contracts in the farm road rehabilitation program.
A report from the Auditor General tabled in parliament yesterday indicated that some procurement guidelines were breached with the methods used by the agency.
The Auditor General said 112 road rehabilitation contracts valued at $1.6b were reviewed by the department.
