R. Kelly’s Legal Team Threatens To Sue Lifetime Ahead Of “Surviving R. Kelly” Documentary Debut

According to popular online blog TMZ, on Thursday, American singer R. Kelly’s lawyer, Brian Nix, gave an official warning to cancel the premiere of Lifetime’s “Surviving R. Kelly” show or else. In Brian’s legal letter, he said the documentary is packed with lies, and threatened to file a federal lawsuit ahead of the debut if the network refused to comply.

Tonight, Lifetime is set to debut its groundbreaking three-night, 6-part documentary series, “Surviving R. Kelly,” where several alleged victims speak out against the singer’s alleged history of “abuse, predatory behavior, and pedophilia,” the network reports.
