Health officials have quarantined a section of the police academy in Central Village after 47 cases of covid-19 were confirmed there.
Central Village has now earned a spot on the list of the country’s COVID-19 hot spots.
The academy’s medical team called in health authorities after several individuals showed symptoms.
Instructors, medical and ground staff members who are on campus are among those to be tested over the next few days.
