Earlier this week, we mentioned that Reggae star Protoje was slated to make an appearance on the popular US television show ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ on Thursday, May 2, and Diggy did not disappoint.

Man step out in true Jamaican style, roll up pants foot, Clarks boot pon feet and the energy ready to get the show going.

He performed his ‘Like This’ track from his Grammy-nominated album ‘A Matter Of Time’, cutting it dubplate style, naming dropping Jimmy Fallon and The Roots band. Throughout his performance, you could hear the studio audience chipping in here and there with their cheers.

Diggy ended his set to loud applause and a solid big up from Fallon.

This performance marks a continuation of a great run for 2019, following Proto’s sold out ‘A Matter Of Time’ live show, held in February this year at the Hope Gardens in Kingston.

Diggy is set to take on a string of shows in the US and Europe starting on June 13, where he’ll be performing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with multiple stops across California as part of reggae group Rebelution’s tour and the final US date set for June 27, in New York.

He then jets off to Europe for another string of shows with the Summer Jam Festival on July 6 in Cologne, Germany being the highlight event of the summer on his tour.

Buju Banton will also be on that show.

Last year a was good run for Proto as well, as he spent the majority of 2018 touring so Diggy’s work has really been reaching the masses. Shout outs to Protoje and the entire In.Digg.Nation collective.
