Prime Minister Andrew Holness is getting ready to address the nation in the next few minutes.
He announced the Press Conference on the recent concerns related to COVID 19 this afternoon via social media.
He is also expected to provide an update on the measures implemented to slow the spread of the virus in Jamaica.
A number of record-breaking case numbers over the last few weeks prompted the Prime Minister to implement 7 no movement days, the last of which is slated for this Sunday.
Several medical officials have however advised him to extend the current measures.
