Prime Minister Andrew Holness says it is not in anyone’s interest to have the government impeded in managing the Covid-19 pandemic, by having matters litigated.
Mr Holness was reacting to news of legal challenges to the vaccine mandate implemented by two businesses.
A number of corporate entities have required that workers show proof of vaccination or test regularly.
The Prime Minister has indicated that new vaccination policies are to be implemented after the government completes its public education campaign.
Mr Holness said it is wise for the government to carefully order it’s steps in these matters to avoid being tied up in court proceedings.
