Prime Minister Andrew Holness says he has instructed the National Housing Trust, (NHT) and the Housing Agency of Jamaica, (HAJ) to focus on constructing housing solutions to be priced within the region of 8 million dollars.
Noting that some 40,000 housing solutions are to be constructed in short order, Mr. Holness says it is important that the agencies focus on affordable housing.
Mr. Holness says more information will be provided in parliament next year.
He was speaking at yesterday’s handing over of 112 housing solutions at Perth Estate Phase 1A in Mandeville, Manchester.
