A second form male student of the Titchfield high school died earlier this afternoon, following a motor vehicle accident, along the black hill main road in Portland.
The identity of the dead child is being withheld, pending notification of his relatives.
About twenty-three other students of both the Titchfield and Port Antonio high schools have been hospitalized.
Reports are that about 3 p-m, a Toyota Hiace mini bus was being driven from port Antonio to buff bay, when on reaching a section of the black hill main road the driver failed to negotiate a corner.
Member of parliament for east Portland Ann Marie Vaz said early reports indicate that, the bus went off road and overturned into a precipice.
The injured students were rushed to hospital, where one died and the others admitted.
