Entertainer and social media personality Pops YG, whose real name is Ansel Fairclough, was arrested early Monday while livestreaming from his home in Trelawny.
Police are holding him on reasonable suspicion of breaches of Jamaica’s lottery-scamming law, his attorney Donnovan Collins confirmed.
A video of the arrest shows armed police entering the property while Fairclough was livestreaming with several other men.
No charges had been laid by midday Monday, with his attorney saying police were still conducting investigations.
