The Kingston Western police are seeking two suspects who were involved in the abduction of a taxi operator and the rape of a female passenger.
One of the suspects has been identified by the alias “Skinny Man”.
Commanding Officer for the Kingston Western police division, Senior Superintendent Michael Phipps, said the abduction took place around 9: 30pm on Tuesday.
He said the taxi driver was stabbed several times during the ordeal.
The taxi driver was taken to the hospital and remains in stable condition.
Meantime, SSP Phipps said one of the suspects in the incident was shot and killed, while another was detained.
The other suspects are being pursued, as investigations into the incident continue.
