The Jamaica Constabulary Force, JCF, has issued a statement following the withdrawal of the case against the alleged ‘Dexter Street or ‘Middle East’ Gang members.
In the statement, the police said solid police work was done in the preparation of the case after the prosecution with drew the case due to the absence of the main Crown witness.
The Police also said they made every effort to have the individual placed under the Witness Protection Programme.
However, despite our best efforts, the individual resisted police protection and eventually disappeared altogether.
