Reggae icon Buju Banton was left puzzled as police in Trinidad searched his hotel room yesterday afternoon.
According to Banton, police claimed they executing a search warrant, however he suggested that he was targeted in a video posted on social media.
After the video went viral, Trinidad’s police commissioner paid the Reggae Superstar a visit, and issued a formal apology.
In a second post, Buju thanked the commissioner and pledged his love for the people of the Twin Island Republic.
Buju Banton is in Trinidad and Tobago for another concert on his Long Walk To Freedom Tour.
