Former Westmoreland Central MP Dwayne Vaz is urging constituents to help reduce crime rates.
This follows the Saturday morning murder of emerging dancehall artiste Paparatzzi on Darling Street in the parish.
According to the report, Paparatzzi, whose real name is Akiem Bradbury, was driving down Ricketts Street when he was ambushed by men armed with rifles and handguns.
They fired at him, but the 41-year-old entertainer jumped from his vehicle and fled, only to be pursued and shot multiple times in the upper body.
Investigations are ongoing to uncover a motive.
