Investigators assigned to the St. Ann Police Division are probing the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision that claimed the life of a man and the injury of another on the Discovery Bay main road in St. Ann on Thursday, January 03.
Dead is 26-year-old Jerome Hall, a mechanic of Keith district, Browns Town, St. Ann.
Reports from the Discovery Bay Police are that about 3:30 p.m., Hall was driving a Yamaha 600 motorcycle towards Ocho Rios. Upon reaching a section of the roadway, he collided with a Toyota Carolla motorcar.
Both drivers sustained multiple injuries and were taken to hospital where Hall was pronounced dead and the driver of the Toyota Corolla admitted for treatment.
