Police have identified two of the three people who died in a crash on the Queens Highway in Discovery Bay, St. Ann, on Wednesday.

The deceased are 45-year-old Clint Carty, a taxi operator from Old Folly District in Discovery Bay, and Georgia Johnson.

The third victim, a woman, has not yet been identified.

Several others, including two toddlers, were injured and remain in hospital; their conditions are currently unknown.

The collision involved a Mitsubishi Outlander and a white Honda Step Wagon, which was being used as a taxi on the Discovery Bay to Falmouth route.

Reports indicate the driver of the Outlander lost control of the vehicle, which then crashed into the Step Wagon.
