North America’s first and only floating bar, Poko Loko reopens to the public today. This, after the original structure was destroyed by the passage of hurricane beryl last year, with losses estimated at up to US$1.4 million.
However, a new and improved Poko Loko was launched Sunday at Mahagony beach in Ocho Rios, St. Ann.
Mayor Michael Belnavis who attended the launch event believes the attraction will do well in the tourist town.
