New President of the People’s National Party Women’s Movement, Patricia Duncan-Sutherland, says the Association will be launching four major initiatives, including a scholarship programme this year.

Speaking at the Association’s annual conference recently, Mrs. Duncan Sutherland said the initiatives would be named after the Movement’s four past presidents.

The first initiative will see 259 scholarships being offered in the name of Beverly Manley.

The second initiative is to be named after Past President Marjorie Taylor and will see a grant being offered to one woman to start a business or expand her ability to earn.
