The Opposition People’s National Party (PNP) has expelled Karen Cross with immediate effect.
The party announced its decision in a statement last night (Mon).
The PNP explains that the expulsion followed a report from the Disciplinary Committee, which was received and considered by the Executive Committee.
The party says the action was taken in accordance with Section 260 of the PNP’s Constitution.
The decision was taken at its meeting held yesterday.
Ms Cross led a protest at PNP Headquarters last week, demanding changes within the party.
The protesters called for the resignation of Party Leader, Mark Golding and General Secretary, Dr Dayton Campbell.
