The government has banned all office Christmas parties in the public sector due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The announcement was made by Prime Minister Andrew Holness yesterday (Tues).
Mr. Holness declared that the public sector has to set the example as it relates to the maintenance of the orders of the Disaster Risk Management Act.
He said a circular outlining the rule will be distributed to all public sector departments and agencies.
