Prime Minister Andrew Holness has called for greater digital alliance with the global community in a bid to foster more cooperation with local and international partners.
He made the call during his virtual address to the general debate of the 76th session of the general assembly of the United Nations on Friday.
Mr. Holness said dealing with the negative consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, will require greater engagement of the public and private sectors, in building foundations for long term development.
He said the core of building resilience lies in restoring the health and well-being of people.
