PM announces adjustments to curfew hours

Prime Minister Andrew Holness announced adjustments to the curfew hours as the country fights to contain the spread of coronavirus.

During Parliament yesterday, the Prime Minister announced that while the curfew hours remain at 8 PM to 5 AM from Monday to Friday each week, on Saturday it will begin at 6:00 p.m., and end at 5 am Sunday.

On Sunday the curfew begins at 2 pm and end at 5 am Monday.

For Labour Day weekend, the curfew will start at 2 pm on Sunday, May 23 until 5 am Tuesday, May 25.

However, on Monday, May 24, no movement will be allowed.

The adjustments expire on June 2.
