Photographer Dario Shields says he plans to take legal action against Dancehall artiste Elephant Man following an incident during the artiste’s Dream Weekend performance in Montego Bay on August1.
Shields’ attorneys are demanding a public apology, saying he was dragged onstage, made the target of derogatory remarks, and suffered embarrassment, emotional distress, and possible damage to his camera while doing his job. They said Shields is considering all legal options.
Speaking with The ZEE on Monday, August 3, Elephant Man denied pushing the photographer off stage and said he apologised on stage. He maintained that the moment was part of the performance and was never intended to disrespect Shields.
That was Elephant man.
