The Clarendon police are investigating murder of a woman and her child’s father in separate incidents over the weekend.
Dead are 35-year-old Camille Ellis and Fernando Morris, who were gunned down less than 12 hours apart in the Effortville community.
Police reports are that about 9:20 pm Saturday, Ellis was at home when her door was kicked in, and she was shot several times.
Morris was also shot and killed when he went to pick up his 4 year old child at her house the following morning.
