Dancehall icon Papa San claims that his career as a gospel Reggae/Dancehall artiste has been better than his popularity as a secular DJ.
In a recent interview Papa San noted that he had kept up his supporters from his secular days, many of whom had been baptized before him.
After receiving his baptism in 1999, Papa San began performing dancehall and gospel music. He still approaches his music in an authentic Dancehall and Reggae manner despite being an ordained pastor in Florida.
Among his gospel albums are Victory, God and I, Journey, Real and Personal, and Higher Heights.
