African musical giant Burna Boy has teased his new album.
Last night (July 29), the “Last Last” singer took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to announce that his album would drop at midnight.
The post sent fans into a frenzy, with one social media user commenting, “Came like a thief in the night.”
Soon after, the ‘City Boy’ artist posted, “No Signs Of Weakness,” which is the album’s name. Then he tweeted “Empty Chairs” before sharing a snippet of the song on his Instagram page.
In the now-viral clip, Burna Boy stands listening to the track with a group of people while vibing and singing along.
“My enemies are no longer on the streets of the road. Now they’re on the internet for the blogs…” are some of the song’s lyrics.
The clock struck midnight, and fans realised there was no album. One X user commented, “12:01 am, all men do is lie.”
“No Signs of Weakness” will be the Nigerian singer’s sixth studio album.
