Justin Timberlake had his licence suspended, after appearing virtually at a hearing in New York over his drink-driving charge.
The 43-year-old singer appeared via video link from Belgium. He pleaded not guilty to driving while intoxicated DWI.
Sag Harbor Village judge also reprimanded the musician’s lawyer, Edward Burke Jr, for “irresponsible” comments he made at the last court hearing, adding it “comes off as an attempt to poison the case before it even begins”.
The judge even threatened to issue a gag order if the lawyer continued to make such comments.
Mr Burke has maintained that Timberlake was not drunk and that the case should be dropped.
