Jamaica’s Post and Telecommunications Department will as of Monday, suspend the shipment of all outbound mail items to China and Hong Kong, with the exception of Fast Track service, until further notice in light of the fallout from the novel Coronavirus outbreak.
The government agency says the outbreak has impacted commerce and logistics, noting that international flights to and from China, the epicentre of the virus, and Hong Kong, have been affected.
Several countries have imposed restrictions on travel to and from China.
