The Sandz Caribbean Music Festival Back-To-School Charity Event was held at the Pembroke Hall Community Center in St. Andrew on August 28 as a way for the party series’ organizers to give back to their neighborhood.
The back-to-school effort is being carried out through the Sandz Foundation, which was established three years ago.
Prior to this occasion, the charity collaborated with the Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation to treat children from the burned-out Papine Children’s Home, and last year, the organization distributed care packages to vulnerable Pembroke Hall families in response to the pandemic.
